AVK DISMANTLING JOINT

Features

• Up to +/- 60mm length (axial) adjustment
• Cost effective installation and dismantling with only a few tie-rods
• Compensates for axial displacement of the pipe during installation and dismantling as the telescopic action between the inner and outer flange body allows for longitudinal adjustment
• Designed with a gland ring arrangement to apply compression on the seal
• Ductile iron or mild steel with fusion bonded epoxy coating to WIS 4-52-01
• Tie rods, studs and nuts zinc plated and passivated. EPDM seals
• Angular deflection can be set during installation only as per the values provided below. Once the dismantling joint is bolted and tie rods are secured, the assembly becomes fixed at the set angles and NO further angular deflection will be accommodated during service.
• Angular deflection:
  <DN600mm is + 4°,
  DN700 & 800 is + 3°,
  DN900 & 1200 is + 2°
• Embodied carbon data available upon request.
• Options:
• studs, nuts and tie-rods of stainless steel A2 or acid-resistant stainless steel A4 or sheraplex ®
• Option of any drilling within design tolerance.

Note: The tie rods supplied with this product as standard are for adjustment purposes only and are not specified for full end load restraint purposes. Contact AVKUK if full end restraint is required so that the size, quantity and material grade of the tie rods can be quoted.
