Metal seat gate valve for water, wastewater and other neutral liquids to max. 70°C.
The AVK series 37 gate valves are designed with built-in safety and quality in every detail. The tough and sturdy metal seat design is well suited for use in applications where conditions are harsh, it is resistant to high temperatures and will not deform during long periods of compression. The copper alloy seats are machined to a fine surface finish that makes sure to close watertight under all conditions.

Features
- Face rings in gunmetal bronze, machined to a fine surface finish to ensure a tight seal
- Wedge nut in high strength alu-bronze
- Stem in stainless steel fitted with a stem cap
- Counterbored galvanized 8.8 bonnet bolts, sealed with hotmelt and encircled by the bonnet gasket
- Full circle thrust collar keeps the stem firmly lined up and ensures low operating torque
- Triple stem seal with a wiper ring outermost to protect against contamination from outside, in the middle the radial bearing is surrounded by O-rings and innermost an O-ring is the main seal to the system pressure
- A large through bore housing for the stem in the wedge prevents stagnant water and impurities to accumulate
- Bonnet gasket with a circular cross-section and fixed in a recess to avoid blow-out
- 250µm blue FBE coating
