Breakable flange kit for series 24 wet barrel hydrants
The AVK series 24 breakable flange kit offers an economical and attractive solution to the problem that fire hydrants on the road side risk being hit by traffic, breaking off and being damaged beyond repair.
Installing the breakable flange in ground level between the subsurface and the above ground parts makes sure that the rupture happens at a well defined, predestined location that is easy, inexpensive and quick to repair.

Features

- It is highly recommended to also install an AVK FlowGuard™ kit that will make sure the leak from a broken off wet barrel hydrant is kept at a very low level
