Gas Flow Limitor (EFV) to GIS/EFV1. Service Conditions: Inlet Pressure 1.09 psig (0.075 Bar) to 72.50 psig (5.00 Bar). Capacity 843 SCFH (23.9 m3/hr) to 2027 SCFH (57.4 m3/hr).

The Donkin® Flow Limitor is an emergency shut-off valve that provides service line safety, service line theft protection and automatic shut-off. It is for direct insertion into the outlet of a standard DN32mm tapping saddle. When inserted into the saddle outlet rather than the service piple, one size flow limitor can be used for all services of DN32mm and below through the use of a reducing electro-fusion coupler. Should gas flow exceed limits, the Flow Limitor will simultaneously trip and shut-off the gas, remaining closed until repairs have been made. Once the fault has been rectified, a small bleed-by flow enables the service to regain pressure, once equalised allowing the unit to reset for normal operation.
