Donkin Flow Limitor (Emergency Flow Valve)

Flow Limitor for gas. Service Conditions:- Inlet Pressure: 10 psig (0.69 Bar) to 100 psig (6.90 Bar), Capacity: 750 S.C.F.H. (20.5 m³/hr) to 1640 S.C.F.H. (46.4 m³/hr).

The AVK Donkin 310/080 Flow Limitor has been designed to be used as an integral part of an electrofusion coupler or reducer enabling the product to be used for DN32mm, DN25mm or DN20mm PE Services. The Donkin Flow Limitor is an emergency shut-off valve that provides service line safety, service line theft protection and automatic shut-off. Should gas flow exceed limits, the Flow Limitor will simultaneously trip and shut-off the gas, remaining closed until repairs have been made. Once the fault has been rectified, a small bleed-by flow enables the service to regain pressure, equalising the pressure and allowing the unit to reset for normal operation.
