On the 2 November, AVK UK attended the Institute of Water’s 2019 National President’s Dinner and Awards evening, held at the National Railway Museum in York. One of the most prestigious social events of the year for members and water sector partners.
The Hollywood themed evening was hosted by Victoria Ross, Institute of Water’s, Northern Area Chair, and provided a unique opportunity to celebrate the breadth of innovation and professional development that is taking place across the water sector. The dinner was attended by prominent figures from organisations serving the water industry, with all proceeds raised going to WaterAid and the local Air Ambulance.
