AVK UK’s Specialist Mobile Roadshow
Driving Innovation to Customers around the UK 12-01-2024
The AVK UK Mobile Roadshow is touring up and down the country sharing the latest product innovations in water and gas valves and fittings, and introducing solutions in person, such as the AVK smart water and PUR gas valve products, with demonstrations to utility providers and contractors.
The bespoke designed 3.5 tonne tourer is equipped with display screens, product stands, hands-on samples, information and more on AVK UK’s wider product ranges.
Valve and Fittings Specialists
Knowledgeable AVK UK specialists bring their expertise right to the customer’s doorstep, showcasing products and solutions, delivering training, and answering any questions in-person.
In one of the latest visits undertaken by the mobile roadshow, two of AVK UK’s experts showcased a fire hydrant, Series 36 PE Tailed Gate Valve, flange adapters, and the trademarked Supa Maxi™ range.

Water & Wastewater Products:
“These visits can be customised to the customers’ requirements. So, if they want to know more about air valves, we can do that by tailoring the products we take in the roadshow van and sending the relevant expert from AVK UK.
“We can provide more videos and demos, or we can spend time on a specific product range. The great thing is the customer can set the agenda. It really is tailored to what each customer is interested in knowing more about.
“For example, on the latest visit that I participated in, the fire hydrant was of particular interest to the customer. We were able to explain how efficient it was, what kind of options are available, such as anti-frost and security devices. They also asked about our Supa Maxi™ range and theory of installation. We discussed the new sizes and how these compared favourably to competitors. It was also good to discuss the Series 36 PE Tailed Gate Valve and its new features.”
Air Valve Demonstrations
“During one roadshow visit, the live air valve demonstration rig we had specially made, with clear pipes and a clear air valve, gained a lot of attention. The customers saw it and immediately wanted to understand what it was and how it worked, which led to discussions on why, where, and how air valves can optimise the network and reduce common network problems.”
