AVK is pleased to introduce its new Through-Bore Hydrant with Integrated Air Valve, an innovative solution designed to help water companies improve water quality, simplify network infrastructure and support smarter water management.

Combining a through-bore hydrant and a 1" air valve within a single asset, the new solution offers multiple operational and environmental benefits while maintaining a familiar installation process. The integrated air valve automatically releases trapped air from the network, helping to reduce aerated or milky water, improve network performance and enhance customer satisfaction.

The product has been developed to support more efficient and sustainable water networks by potentially reducing the number of chambers, materials, connections and maintenance requirements associated with traditional installations.

The product has already secured approval from South West Water as a replacement for a 1" air valve, with wider opportunities currently being explored.

Available with AVK Smart Water monitoring technologies, the hydrant also provides a platform for future digital network management and greater operational visibility.
