AVK UK has recently been awarded a two-year extension to its emergency fittings call-out contract with Northumbrian Water.

‘In awarding the contract extension, Northumbrian Water has recognised the strength of our 24/7 emergency call out offer. Not only can we install fittings from our Supa™ ranges, but we are also able to offer bespoke manufactured emergency fittings at sizes up to DN1600.
Although it is not covered under the standard supply Northumbrian Water contract, AVK are able to offer an emergency service which includes valves and actuators, repair and maintenance. Our highly skilled engineers are equipped with inventory to ensure we can efficiently respond and repair effectively across the UK.
The Northumbrian Water award follows hot on the heels of AVK UK being awarded the framework contract as sole source of supply for mechanical couplers, flange converters, flange adaptors, and encapsulation collars to Severn Trent Water.
We are delighted to have received this extension, we look forward to working again with Northumbrian Water to ensure that we minimise disruption to customers, building on our successful approach to emergency fittings call-outs in the previous AMP cycle'.
